I'm a securities attorney with two decades of experience at the intersection of law, finance, and emerging technology. I started covering blockchain in 2016 and AI in 2019 — not because they were trending, but because I could read the regulatory and financial signals before they became obvious.

Before that: the US Securities and Exchange Commission, then international firm Mayer Brown. I've founded two companies, one with an exit. I advise funds and high-net-worth individuals on blockchain, AI, and financial regulation.

My track record of early, accurate calls is documented and published. I called FTX, Terra/Luna, and Silicon Valley Bank months before each collapsed. More recently: Aurora Innovation, Comfort Systems USA, Barrick Gold, and the CoreWeave structural bear thesis — all called before consensus caught up. I cite everything. I keep receipts.

  • Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) — Called ~8 months before collapse, March 2023. Second-largest U.S. bank failure in history. FDIC takeover within 48 hours.
  • Aurora Innovation (AUR) — Called Q4 2025. Aurora is now the only company operating driverless trucks commercially on U.S. public roads.
  • Comfort Systems USA (FIX) — Called Q4 2025. Roughly a 4x move from the 52-week low.
  • Barrick Gold (GOLD) — Called Q4 2025. FY2025 EPS up 140% YoY. Fourth consecutive quarterly free cash flow record.
  • CoreWeave (CRWV) — Called Q4 2025 / ongoing. Commodity GPU rental structural bear thesis playing out as described.
